Humanitarian Relief

TASMN is proudly declare being a formal chapter of Embrace Relief. As TASMN, we encouraged the people to help others that brings together teams of volunteers to collaborate on humanitarian aid and disaster relief efforts. These teams provide an array of support, offering to assist financially, emotionally, and physically with the needs of families and communities ravaged by disaster.

Embrace Relief dedicates much of its resources to aid efforts such as natural disasters, we also make considerable investments in fighting against poverty by relieving hunger and health problems of the people in need. Embrace Relief, its staff, and its volunteers believe that every member of society can give back to their communities in any shape or form, within a pleasant and respectful environment that accepts no judgments or discrimination.

According to the WHO/UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme for Water Supply and Sanitation, at least 1.8 billion people world-wide are estimated to drink water that is faecally contaminated. An even greater number drink water which is delivered through a system without adequate protection against sanitary hazards. Everyday more than 4,500 children die from drinking unsafe water. More than 30 million school children have to carry water from miles away everyday. Clean water is scarce for more than 1 billion people around the world. You can help by donating to an existing project or by starting your own project

Embrace Relief’s “Water Wells” campaign is easing the difficulty of obtaining drinking water in Haiti, Senegal, Sudan, Kenya, Niger, Nigeria, Somalia, Chad and Cameroon.

One of Embrace Relief’s biggest priorities is to help orphans. There are more than 150 million orphans worldwide. Most of these orphans are neglected and need help. Every day more than 5700 kids become orphans. Most of these orphans are not adopted and spent around 10 years in orphanages. Every year 14 million orphans are released from orphanages because they reach the age of 18. Out of these released orphans, 70% of the boys become involved in serious offences like murder and robbery, while 60% of the girls become involved in prostitution.

Embrace Relief has worked to provide help to orphans in Haiti and Africa and has been continuing these efforts by providing schools supplies and food to orphanages.

Since summer of 2014, Embrace Relief has donated over 58,000 pounds of fresh meat to families in need. During the summer months, Embrace Relief donated 17,000 pounds to people in Haiti, Dominican Republic, Kenya and Tanzania. In October 2014, we have donated 41,000 pounds of fresh meat to needy families and shelters all across the United States. Food is something we often take for granted and it is something so many people in the world don’t have.

Let’s break the cycle and fight against hunger. Let’s help those in need and put food on their plates.  You can contribute to Embrace Relief’s fight against hunger with donations

Embrace the Newcomers Campaign supports the new arrivals to the United States! These newcomers to America are fleeing persecution or fear of persecution in their homeland. They are often coming to the US in desperate times, often leaving family, friends, homes, jobs, and savings.
